create a field to represent today's date and set its label as the download date in the Quote word template.

Use calculated fields to represent today's date.

1) Create a new Date field, set Field Type as Calculated. 

2) Click Edit button to write its logic. 

In the action, write NOW().

3) Add this field to the Quote word template.
